The Research and Policy Center Recognizes Women of Influence
International Women's Day | 8 Mar 2026
International Women’s Day (IWD), observed annually on 8 March, is a global call to celebrate achievement and accelerate progress. For more than a century, IWD has united individuals and institutions in recognizing the social, economic, cultural, and political contributions of women, while confronting the barriers that continue to impede gender parity. For the investment profession, advancing gender equality is not only a social imperative but also strengthens governance, enhances decision-making, and supports more resilient markets.
IWD’s 2026 theme, “Give To Gain,” challenges us to act with purpose. When we give, we gain. Giving is not a subtraction; it is a catalyst for growth. When women thrive, organizations perform better, capital is allocated more effectively, and society benefits.
“Give To Gain” urges leaders, investors, colleagues, and allies to embrace reciprocity and collaboration. Intentional contributions — of time, expertise, resources, and advocacy — create momentum and multiply impact, advancing meaningful and lasting gender equality across our profession.
Since 1911, IWD has belonged to everyone committed to progress. In that spirit, CFA Institute Research and Policy Center proudly celebrates the women who advance our mission and shape the future of the investment profession. On this page, we highlight women serving as editors, advisory council members, Research Foundation board trustees, GIPS® volunteers, and leaders across our global network, whose expertise, leadership, and dedication strengthen both our work and our industry.

Join the Women Moving Markets
In addition to serving on our volunteer boards and councils, women in financial services play a vital role in advancing our research agenda. Their work appears in the Financial Analysts Journal, Research Foundation Publications, and Enterprising Investor, shaping conversations across investment practice and policy. We look forward to continuing this collaboration and welcome new contributions from women in 2026 and beyond.
