David Blanchett, CFA

David Blanchett, CFA, is the author or co-author of four articles in the Financial Analysts Journal and is a recipient of the Journal’s Graham and Dodd Award. He has also contributed to the CFA Institute Enterprising Investor blog as well as to CFA Institute Research Foundation. He currently serves on the Financial Analysts Journal’s Editorial Board.
David Blanchett, CFA, is managing director, portfolio manager, and head of retirement research for PGIM DC Solutions. PGIM is the global investment management business of Prudential Financial, Inc. He is also responsible for portfolio management of the PGIM Target Date Funds. Prior to joining PGIM, he was head of retirement research for Morningstar Investment Management LLC and the director of consulting and investment research for the Retirement Plan Consulting Group at Unified Trust Company.
Blanchett is an adjunct professor of wealth management at the American College of Financial Services and a research fellow for the Alliance for Lifetime Income. He has published over 100 papers in a variety of industry and academic journals and has received a variety of awards.
