I agree. There is a documentary called “the dark side of green energy” that shows the environmental impact of going green and it is frankly horrendous.

Personally I would push green hydrogen for much of our transportation needs and use nuclear for much of the power grid.

Bu the way the potentially largest copper mine in Alaska has been essentially scrapped. Because of political pressure to “save wild salmon”..it is called the Pebble Mine.
