It seems this is a "wisdom of the crowd" approach among diversified experts. One question is if the engine has to be defined by how the managers actually quantitatively define their process or can it be done by outsiders. If the former, it requires that only managers that view their process this formulaic can be included and if the latter, than it relies on outsiders abilities to build a good multi-variable model to define the processes. Both seem to be limitations.
