My two favorite investing rules are 1)Don’t try to time the market, and 2)Timing is everything. I’ve made a few calls to a broker that I’d like to have back, but the few that were best timed cover them and then some. Dollar cost averaging removes some risk, but that probably includes the “risk” of out-performance.
