It's disgustingly glib for a billionaire libertarian to say that "there are no libertarians in a pandemic." By the time the pandemic arrives, it's too late to convert. So will this disaster force the Cliff Asness' of the world to recognize that government services, like health care and education, need to be funded and that a country that fails to invest in its people is doomed to decline?
