The answer to your first question is yes, you are right. The answer to the second question is probably not. But I mislead you erroneously writing Debt/EBITDA rather than Debt/EV, as the calculations imply. Debt/EBITDA is usually higher than 100%, Debt /EV higher than 100% would imply negative equity.
