Lots to disagree with here unfortunately. One needs to go a bit deeper to understand why there is persistent with top quartile managers in PE; why once top quartile pe managers fall to lower quartile managers (usually this could be due to focus drift, team changes and lastly vintage years). Overall, i think a deeper dive is required because persistence does exist within private capital investments when you consider certain factors (vis a vis a casual general look).
