There are a number of longitudinal studies showing that equities have generally been a partial hedge against inflation as has real estate. I would have liked to see a discussion on why that tends to occur using the financial measures used in this article. Using these macro views of the company, I haven't been able to show the inflationhedg factor of equities what I have found when looking at micro unit pricing analysis of the income statement.
