I'm so glad you found it helpful. Whenever I think about quantitative rules for good writing I think of this scene [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tpeLSMKNFO4] from Dead Poets Society. The movie is far from perfect, but the idea of plotting the area under a curve to derive which poetry is good is 10/10.
