Over the last decade, CFA Institute has slowly drifted away from a practitioner focused organization, to an academic / politically motivated organization.
Allowing nonsense comments about "global warming", or its new marketing label "climate change" does nothing to fix what is wrong with markets or CFA Institute.
If Mr Viederman wants infinitely higher taxes on everything (that is what global warming is actually about) -- then let him admit he is a socialist and let him write comments on a political blog.
CFA Institute needs to reconnect with markets and distance itself from cloistered academia.
