Further advice for investors: read the prospectus on anything with which you are unfamiliar or have never heard of before. Don’t just rely on your advisor. I guarantee if you had seen prospectus on most auction rate securities, you would never have invested in them because you would not have wanted to weigh through a couple hundred pages of arcane matter.
