Through my own personal and professional life experiences, I can accurately and emphatically state that a LTC policy, not only saves the family a significant amount of money-but also minimizes the "human currency" spent.
When a long term care event occurs, it can be gut wrenching for the entire family. A LTC policy provides the ability for extensive care coordination services which will set the game plan for the family. Additionally, it will set up a firewall around the assets accumulated to be gifted or spent as desired. Long term care is the largest unfunded liability many people have.
