I'm curious: what percentage of time does "overwhelming" translates into when it comes to reading the news?

For my own private research, it's become abundantly clear how important it is to read to develop the mosaic. Half of the battle seems to be weeding out the noise from the material. I suppose only through practice over time does this become easier. It's encouraging to learn from your experience and understand that it's all part of the process!
