Thank you for reading. I'll surprise you by agreeing with you -- over the course of this century, China and the rest of the world will likely do just fine.

However, I would point out that the bulk of the data presented here in the charts comes directly from various Chinese state agencies via Bloomberg. So if you believe that they are accurate there is still a hard truth that bears acknowledgement: things are slowing down. Things can be fine for individuals people in an economy even as providers of capital suffer from a re-rating of their contribution during a slowdown in growth.
