As far as actionable strategies, I will be using this framework to dissect other topics to help illuminate the issue of variant perception in the future. So, perhaps that will help. I also believe that with today's technology, a linguist and a programmer could go a long way toward turning perception into a science with lots of robust data...but I digress. I think achieving variant perception is possible, but it takes a persistent focus on it. And, it seems, the moment one shies away from it is the moment the product becomes some crude form of beta.
