Coming to the article, one thing we do need to ensure, the connectivity to rural areas. It is sad that even today, 2G is not available in many rural areas, or atleast not worth of mobile payments.
But I can see things trickle down in future, for example, the payment banks (as now they are called) will be able to use the money from rural areas, invest in infra bonds, and support investment for better network across India. Can we squeeze a benefit from this? Maybe.
