Thanks Mark. I agree that plenty of funds do not charge 2/20 and also that 40 Act Funds are making some in roads on fees. Industry surveys (most notably the annual investor surveys from Goldman Sachs and Deutsche Bank prime brokerage groups) consistently show that fees in aggregate have not changed and generally fall around 1.5/20. (2/20 never really was an industry standard, although some funds do charge that much).
