Not sure, why we would care about the gender gap? Do we care that women more highly represent healthcare fields? Women went from no representation to dominating the veterinarian with 80% membership.

Why should we assume the gender imbalance is because women are treated unfairly. Perhaps it's time to assume women don't like finance on average as much as men.
