As an Africa market watcher myself I found this very interesting. In many respects Africa is a fantastic market with many opportunities. However, we must be careful to note that Africa is not one homogenous entity and that every country is different with different regulatory environments and business cultures.

Also despite strong competition from the Far East investors European entities have not retreated or ignored the opportunity. In this instance I am thinking of Ericsson and Orange which have developed sizable footprints across the continent and have grown their presence and revenues across Africa.

Anyway love the fact that the discussion is being developed and that awareness is being created.
