I have yet to understand the necessity to sensationalize and broadcast every second of a person’s mundane existence. It’s like the entire world is the guy who was always chosen last for pick-up baseball and must now let everyone know that they’ve recently mastered the amazing feat of crossing the street unassisted. Trust me; your life isn’t all that amazingly spectacular. Just the opposite I suspect. I can’t imagine a fighter pilot or lion tamer carries a smart phone to work. Just because you have the technology to inform the universe of your eating habits, doesn’t make it a mandate. You didn’t invent anything and probably won’t because you just ain’t that special. It’s all been done before. Self-importance doesn’t make you important and just because narcissism is pandemic; it’s not a quality trait.
