A class of mistakes not covered by behaviourists, but relevant to investment decisions, is the mistake-as-self-expression.
I acknowledge I make mistakes, and try to avoid repeating them. I observe a large number of people who are reluctant to admit to mistakes, and seem to make variations of a particular mistake repeatedly. My guess is that this behaviour is driven by a need to express a repressed subconscious urge.
