Thanks for your comment! You're right that there is really a lot to explore here. For one, why doesn't the industry as a whole view ethical conduct as a natural way to build a long-lasting career? It seems intuitive that if you can gain your client's trust and confidence you have a good platform from which to succeed, but some research [https://www.cfainstitute.org/about/research/surveys/Pages/crisisofcultu…] we've done suggests that even though professionals view ethics as important, they don't necessarily view them as a path to career advancement.
