Except – I wish you had spoken to the absence of leadership. Today I sadly observe CEO's of major investment firms remain mysteriously silent on ethics and the fiduciary standard. I wonder why the leaders of such influential businesses cannot become advocates for doing the right thing, a role the CFA performs admirably, but you should not be alone in that advocacy. Your and our ultimate aim is to change a culture that veered off toward short term-ism and greed, away from the customer and ethical behavior. Here's hoping...
