I am glad that the article says that philosophy by itself tells us nothing. I would prefer to choose an investment manager that has a winning strategy. You might say that strategy is the same as philosophy, but I see a difference. Philosophy to me sounds like something that you stick to because you believe it. Strategies change. Again, as the article says, these endeavors should be determined by talent, skill, and motivation. This is a strategy to me.
