Demand remains relatively strong overall, however, and with price stickiness in many areas there are no clear signs yet of a widespread and sustained moderation in inflation. Looking at this issue outside of the US, there is little evidence of inflation easing-up. The key point of the article is that monetary policy alone will not be sufficient to tackle inflation in the long run.
