We have just had an amazing decade-plus where we (the world) just shared the illusion (as in “money is a shared illusion”) of each other’s fiat money with fluctuations in the same order of magnitude. We actually survived the “crisis”. The shattering of the illusion is already getting ugly in a few civilized societies, and disillusion should reach the U.S.soon. Hey, you’ve got to have “policy”, but don’t expect too much from it.
