What I remember from professor Damodaran classes is that if the rise in equity prices is accompanied by the rise in trading volume, then the price increase is expected to persist longer and a good sign. Then maybe this is what will appear in the correlation trends if we look closely between price and volume trend of cryptocurrencies.
