Through our research and advocacy efforts, we help investors navigate the challenges of current market conditions and we advocate for fair and liquid markets
Our yearly trust studies and surveys reveal persistent issues for institutional and retail investors. Data management, analysis, and organization pose major hurdles for institutional investors. Retail investors face their own set of challenges including volatility and uncertainty. The quality of fair and transparent advice allowing comparability is at the forefront of concerns for retail investors as is transparency on costs.
Regulators have been observing the new market phenomena of gamification, the rise of cryptocurrencies, and the prevalence of greenwashing. CFA Institute Research and Policy Center is providing resources to help regulators, market participants, and investors navigate these market developments and make informed decisions.
