The United Arab Emirates (UAE) will host the 28th Conference of the Parties (COP) of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) from 30 November to 12 December 2023. The convention brings together leaders from government, business, finance, and the broader sustainability community to address the actions needed to drive progress toward the Paris Agreement’s ambitious global temperature reduction goals that include limiting warming to 1.5 degrees.

The Research and Policy Center (RPC) is committed to providing investment professionals with tools and resources for understanding, measuring, and managing sustainability-related risks and opportunities and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) investment approaches and performance data (see ESG Investment Outcomes, Performance Evaluation, and Attribution); meeting client demands; and complying with regulatory requirements. Our research covers an array of sustainable investing topics, including biodiversity, human capital, climate risk, net zero commitment issues, and climate change analysis in the investment process. Our advocacy efforts and standards advance sustainable investing ethics, professional conduct, and market integrity for the ultimate benefit of society.
