In this session, Ron Florance, CFA, discusses the crisis of ethics in our society, what ethics means in the financial services industry, and why the ethical path may not always be obvious. He provides a framework for putting clients first using the CFA Institute Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct and Statement of Investor Rights as the foundation. Mr. Florance encourages CFA Institute members to take action by leading the way forward in ethical practices and setting the highest standards in ethics and professionalism, so that other providers of financial services will follow their example.
