Regulation Best Interest proposes to require broker-dealers to act in the best interest of their retail clients when making investment recommendations.

Regulation Best Interest proposes to require broker-dealers to act in the best interest of their retail clients when making a recommendation.  CFA Institute believes that Regulation Best Interest, as proposed, will increase, rather than lessen, investor confusion.
