Udi Hoitash, PhD, is the Lilian L. and Harry A. Cowan Endowed Professor of Accounting at the D’Amore-McKim School of Business, Northeastern University. Hoitash received his PhD in Accounting and Information Systems from Rutgers University. He currently serves as an editor for Auditing: A Journal of Practice & Theory. He has published multiple peer-reviewed papers, including papers at top accounting and finance journals such as The Accounting Review, Contemporary Accounting Research, Journal of Accounting and Economics, the Journal of Financial Economics and the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis. His work has been frequently featured in news outlets such as the WSJ CFO Magazine, Bloomberg Radio and CFO.com.
