Sebastian Petric , PhD, CFA
Biography
Sebastian Petric, PhD, CFA, is an investment professional and quantitative finance researcher with more than a decade of experience in institutional investing and capital markets. He specializes in global macro, foreign exchange, asset pricing, and financial regimes. He has held investment and capital markets roles at LGT, Raiffeisen Bank International, and UBS, where he served as a director in the Investment Office. He holds an MBA from Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford and a PhD from the University of Liechtenstein. He also studied at the Vienna University of Economics and Business and the London School of Economics and is a Visiting Fellow at the Oxford Internet Institute. His work focuses on translating quantitative research into decision-useful investment insights. He is the author of Predictability of Financial Crises: The Impact of Fundamental, Policy-Induced and Institutional Vulnerabilities on China Compared to Other Emerging Markets.
