Sami Küçükoğlu, PhD, is a faculty member in the Department of Data Science and Analytics at Istanbul Ticaret University in Türkiye. He teaches artificial intelligence, entrepreneurship and project design, and financial management. His research focuses on financial markets, algorithmic trading, artificial intelligence in finance, market efficiency, capital markets, and risk management. His recent work examines the conditions under which AI agents can identify and exploit market structure, including the constraints imposed by noise, transaction costs, and changing market regimes. He is the author of “Beyond Random Walks: Exploring the Learnability Threshold of AI Agents in Algorithmic Markets,” published in Expert Systems with Applications.
