Ravi S. Bhagavatula is the Managing Partner of WFA Global Investments. With three decades of experience in financial markets, he focuses on alternative investments, systematic multi-asset strategies, and emerging applications of AI in investment management and deep science and technology. He holds an integrated undergraduate and master’s degree from IIT Kanpur, a PhD in Physics specializing in dynamical systems, and a Global EMBA. Previously, as a Managing Director at UBS and AIG, he led global initiatives in quantitative investing, financial products, and risk management. As a seasoned early-stage investor, he has seed-funded several innovative start-ups and serves as a strategic advisor for new ventures, with interests spanning deep science, technology, and AI. He has authored and co-authored books on Agentic Finance, Bounded Agency in AI Systems, and Entrepreneurship.
