Jeff Kuhlman, CFA, is a vice president with the investment manager solutions group at First Republic Private Wealth Management. In this role, he is responsible for the sustainable and responsible investing (SRI) platform and leads the firm’s portfolio consultant group, which focuses on connecting client goals and values to their investments. Kuhlman joined First Republic in 2010. Prior to joining First Republic, he served in the US Army as a Korean linguist. Kuhlman chairs the environmental, social, and governance (ESG) member community for the CFA Society of Los Angeles. He is an advocate for financial literacy and regularly volunteers as an instructor for Operation Hope and Americorps. Kuhlman earned his bachelor's of science in finance from Santa Clara University. He also holds an associate of arts in Korean from the Defense Language Institute as well as an MBA from UCLA.
