James Hillan graduated from Heriot-Watt University with a First Class MA (Honours) in Economics & Finance in June 2026, receiving the Deputy Principal's Award in recognition of his academic achievement. He is a CFA Level I candidate and is currently completing a summer internship with the Finance Team at the Faculty of Advocates. In September, James will begin an MSc in International Financial Analysis at the University of Glasgow.
