Charles   De Andrade

Biography

Charles De Andrade, CAIA is a senior private equity real estate executive and the founder/managing director of Centaurus Capital (CCap) Consultancy – a specialized global private commercial real estate consultancy firm based in New York. CCap provides (fractional/outsourced) CIO/CFO/COO services, real estate investment banking, and private equity advisory, research/thought leadership, as well as (young professional) training and mentoring. De Andrade has over 15 years of global real estate experience and completed over $5 billion in aggregate debt/equity private (joint venture/fund) capital raised or recapitalized, and principal debt/equity invested across all private commercial real estate asset classes/strategies.

De Andrade previously worked at EquityMultiple Investment Partners (EMIP) as a director responsible for the evaluation, structuring, and execution of middle-market equity and debt real estate investments throughout the U.S. Prior to EMIP, he worked at JLL Securities as a vice president focused on global real estate investment banking and private equity real estate capital raising. Prior to that, he was at Macquarie Capital, working with international institutional investors and operators on real estate investment banking and placement agent advisory, debt/equity capital raising, and principal investing. De Andrade started his career in asset/wealth management in Europe at Robeco and Rabobank, before working in generalist investment banking in New York.

De Andrade holds a BS in International Business Administration from Erasmus University, and MBA, cum laude, with a concentration in finance and investments, from the Rotterdam School of Management. He also has a post-graduate certificate in real estate from New York University and is a CAIA® charter holder.
