Andrew James is a lecturer of finance at the University of the Free State in South Africa and a PhD Candidate at the University of Cape Town. His PhD focuses on financialization of non-ferrous metal on the London Metals Exchange, and his broader research focuses on market efficiency, asset pricing, and machine learning application in finance. Prior to entering academia, he worked as an investment analyst where he focused on fixed income investments.
