Global Ethics Day 2023

CFA Institute Research and Policy Center is honored to once again participate in Global Ethics Day to empower ethics as a force for good. Started by the Carnegie Council for Ethics in International Affairs, Global Ethics Day is celebrated by organizations around the world every year on the third Wednesday in October.

Ethics is not an abstract area of study for philosophers and academics. It is an active process that each of us can engage in to improve our lives, strengthen our communities, and build a better world. CFA Institute promotes the highest standards of ethics, education, and professional excellence for the ultimate benefit of society. Today and every day, we explore and celebrate the essential role of ethics in the investment industry. As detailed in our Future State of the Investment Industry report, investment leaders and professionals are in the throes of unprecedented change, driven in large part by deglobalization, geopolitical conflict, inequality, and demographic disruptions. This report will help investment leaders and professionals gird for the volatility and increasing complexity they will face in the coming years and better serve clients and stakeholders.
