Good article overall. A bit too much jargon so I did not understand many parts. I have a feeling that the authors may be sandbagging the potential for AI. Look at the internet when it started in the mid-90's. Few could imagine how much it would evolve 30 years later. I think, the exponential progress in AI is just starting. You are seeing just the start of the "hockey stick growth" and the impact on society will be profound (both for good and bad).
